Joseph and Les skydive to raise money for Footprints

10/07/2023 by Digital Media

On Sunday 4th June 2023 at Langer Airfield, Joseph and his Dad Les jumped out of a plane in a Tandem Skydive to raise money for Footprints Conductive Education Centre.

Footprints is a charity supporting children living with disabilities and their families.

Joseph attended from the age of 1 until he started school, and to this day still remains connected to the charity.

His Mum Miriam, is also their Speech Coordinator and works with children of school age who live with Down Syndrome.

At the beginning of lockdown, the pair managed to raise an amazing £5,000 in a 26km tandem bike ride.

Over the years, Joseph has proved he is certainly a thrill seeker, where he loves the scariest rides at Alton Towers and his latest challenge has certainly taken that to the next level… What does he have in store next?

Every penny raise by the duo, will go towards supporting Footprints, who rely totally on charitable donations.

The original target to raise £1,000 has been smashed, however if you would like to donate please visit: https://www.justgiving.com/page/miriam-rutherford-1684330275543
