Scouts enjoy Winter Camp at Sherbrooke Campsite

08/03/2023 by Digital Media

Local Southwell Scouts & Explorers recently visited the Sherbrooke Campsite for their winter camp, where they participated in a series of fun activities.

With over 35 scouts, explorers and leaders present, the group camped onsite for a night and enjoyed preparing and cooking chicken stew, firing arrows on the archery range, hiking around Calverton and visiting Calverton Fish & Chip bar for a delicious lunch!

A huge thank you must go to Duncan Betts of The John Harrison Partnership Spar shop at Lowdham,  for donating much of the food gratefully consumed by those in attendance.
