Lowdham Book Festival Returns for Final Chapter

04/06/2026 by Digital Media

The Lowdham Book Festival is back for the final time, running from Saturday 13 June to Friday 26 June with a celebration of the “Best of the Fest” from previous years alongside exciting new guests.

Jane Streeter, owner of The Bookcase and festival organiser, said: “It has been an absolute joy and privilege over the years to welcome so many fantastic authors and to share some very special moments with our wonderfully supportive audience.

“In this final festival we have tried to bring together the traditional combination of famous names and local authors, with events to appeal to a broad range of ages and interests.

“With talks and events for families, cricket fans and music lovers, as well as audiences interested in history, literary fiction, poetry and food, we hope there is something for everyone.

“We are very much looking forward to sharing it all and hope to welcome lots of customers to help us celebrate this grand finale before The Bookcase closes on Saturday 5 September.”

A digital version of the programme is available at: www.thebookcase.co.uk. Tickets can be purchased at The Bookcase, 50 Main Street, Lowdham, or by calling 0115 966 3219.
