Clifton Bowls Club Thanks Generous Local Support

04/06/2026 by Digital Media

Clifton Bowls Club is delighted to share some fantastic news as they open their green for the 2026 season. The club has received a very generous donation from Robert Nightingale of RM Plastering Services, which will directly benefit both their members and the wider community.

Thanks to this kind support, the club has been able to invest in brand-new club shirts, upgrade essential bowling equipment, and improve club signage.

These improvements not only enhance the experience for the existing members but also help present Clifton Bowls Club as a welcoming, vibrant place for anyone interested in trying the sport.

A club spokesperson said: “We extend our sincere thanks to Robert Nightingale and RM Plastering Services for their generosity and continued support of local community sport. Contributions like this make a real difference and help ensure the future of the club for years to come.”

With the season now officially open for 2026, Clifton Bowls Club would love to welcome new players of all abilities. Whether you are completely new to bowls or returning to the game, you will find a friendly atmosphere and plenty of help to get started.

If you’re curious to give bowls a try, why not go along to their popular Wednesday night roll-up?
• Gates open from 6:00 pm
• A relaxed, social evening of bowls
• All welcome – equipment can be provided
• All you need is flat shoes.

Why not go along, meet new people, and enjoy a great evening outdoors. Please note: Children must be over 12 years old and be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Clifton Bowls Club looks forward to welcoming both familiar faces and new members throughout the 2026 season!
