Gamston resident lights up home this Christmas for charity

09/12/2020 by Digital Media

David who lives in Gamston has lit up his home with a very special Christmas display.

You may know of David’s remarkably festive home on Sandale Close after passing it or perhaps just seeing the bright lights in the distance. Every year for almost a decade, David has lit up his home with an incredible Christmas display that is awed and visited by many.

However, his display isn’t just for a Christmas treat, the main incentive is to raise funds for the RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre.

David said, “My Christmas Lights are now up and running.

“Sorry that there was no grand switch on this year due to Covid 19 restrictions.

“My display will be raising money for the RSPCA Radcliffe Animal Centre to which I am a trustee. If you could make donation to help care for the wonderful animals, it would be very much appreciated. The Centre is funded independently and receives no financial support from the RSPCA National Society.

“If you would care to visit the display by car please drive slowly and adhere to social distancing if passing on foot. Please place any donations in the red box. The pandemic makes fundraising exceptionally very difficult this year, but if you can spare a little, it will go a long way in helping animals in need.”

Donations can also be made by text:

Donate £5 by texting RSPCALIGHTS 5 to 70085

Donate £10 by texting RSPCALIGHTS 10 to 70085

You can visit the display at 4 Sandale Close, Gamston, Nottingham, NG2 6QG

The Christmas display will be lit up from 4pm – 9:30pm from 1st – 31st December.
