If you are looking for garden inspiration, then on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 June, 20 beautiful gardens will be open as part of the 2025 Beeston and Chilwell Garden Trail.
In addition to seeing otherwise private gardens in your neighbourhood, the Trail is a way of supporting a range of local charities.
Each year, local gardeners in Beeston and Chilwell join together to open their gates for visitors and this year is the 25th Open Garden Trail.
The gardens vary in size, design and style so there is something to suit all tastes and styles from the small terrace yard, to large, landscaped gardens with plush lawns and deep borders.
If your interest is in roses, lilies and clematis then there is a garden for you, as well as those who like immaculate lawns and perfect edges! If that’s not your style, then there are also gardens with mixed flowers and vegetables, or wonderfully productive allotments.
The gardeners are on hand to answer questions and share advice and tips, and there should be something to inspire and interest everyone regardless of your gardening space or ability!
Many gardens hold plant or craft sales, sell refreshments, or host entertainment such as music, crafts, or games. There is also a ‘duck hunt’ for small children! It is a day out for all the family
Tickets can be bought via The Beeston and Chilwell Garden Trail website and Eventbrite online.
You can also buy tickets with cash at the gate of most gardens. Tickets are £5 per adult and children under 14 are free. Your ticket is valid for all gardens all weekend.
