Artist Jo Gray has had two paintings accepted at the Royal Society of British Artist’s 200th open exhibition. Over 4,000 artworks were submitted and only 200 selected.
The exhibition is at the Mall Galleries in London, and takes place in March.
Jo Gray is a West Bridgford based artist with decades of experience. She studied graphic design specialising in illustration at Central Saint Martins. Her work is extremely diverse both in style and scale. It varies from realistic artworks to stylized murals.
The paintings which have been selected for the RBA exhibition are pet portraits. These pieces are very realistic. They are painted in acrylics using layers of paint and glazes to create depth of fur.
Jo paints pet portraits from photographs, these start from £145.
These artworks celebrate the animal in your life. They capture the unique personality and spirit of your pet, creating memories that last forever. They make very special gifts and can also be a heartfelt memorial to your furry family member.
