Have you been inspired by your Great Britain heroes? You could be part of the next generation…
A taster session is being held at the National Ice Centre in Nottingham this week for girls and women who want to get involved in ice hockey.
It takes place on Wednesday 22nd March from 4pm until 6:15pm and will involve an on-ice activity sessions, as well as talks by women involved in the sport in the UK.
It’s part of the IIHF’s #InspireTheNext initiative which is showcasing the opportunities, strength, and global leadership of the women in the sport across the world.
After the on-ice activity, a series of short talks entitled ‘My Journey’ will be undertaken by various women involved in the sport…

4pm – Arrival and registration in the foyer
4:15pm – Skates/equipment on
4:30pm – On-ice taster session with coaches and GB players (all equipment will be provided)
5:30pm – Skates/equipment off
5:45pm – My Journey talks
6:15pm – End of Session
