Bingham Model Railway Club is a long-established club aimed at all those interested in the design, building and operation of model railways.
Our annual exhibition this year is 1st-2nd April at the Welfare, Cotgrave, with entry kept at £5 for adults and accompanied children free.
Tuesday mornings and Thursday evenings are the main club meeting times and members often bring their own bits and pieces to work on. Some get involved with the new club layouts, and others come for a cup of tea and a chat. There is a good atmosphere, a great sense of togetherness and two large layouts to test and run in locomotives.
We have members interested in all gauges although the club tends to concentrate on the more familiar gauges of 00 and N. We are currently working on several new layouts with members heavily involved in the construction of the layout, scenic items, and electrics.
Our current club room is located at The Welfare, Cotgrave, Notts and new members are always welcome at the clubroom and if you are a complete novice to either railways or modelling, there will always be someone who can help you out.
Our web site is www.bingham-model-rail.co.uk where you can find contact details and a wealth of photographs of layouts we are involved with.
