Vistry Partnerships East Midlands has sponsored Radcliffe Olympic U11 Girls Team as part of their efforts to support local grassroots initiatives.
The club which formed in back in 1876 and is one of the oldest in the area, provides local boys and girls aged between 4 and 16 with the chance to play football. The clubs under 11s girls’ team, who play in the Nottinghamshire/Derby League, will don a new blue and red striped kit, paid for by the developer.
Whilst Vistry Partnerships East Midlands do not currently have any live developments in the area, the developers, who build across the East Midlands region, are keen to support the communities where their employees and families live. Acting Production Director, Ryan Woolley, lives locally and his daughter plays for the football team.
Commenting on the sponsorship, Vistry Partnerships Marketing Manager for the East Midlands, Jess Sidwell, said: “At Vistry Partnerships, we want to go beyond building homes to leave a positive lasting legacy in the communities we work and live in. When we found out that Radcliffe Olympic Under 11 team needed a new kit, we were pleased to be able to offer our support and sponsorship. We hope it brings them good luck for the season.”
Dominic Baker from Radcliffe Olympic said: “We are delighted and incredibly grateful that Vistry Partnerships have supported our grassroots community club and especially our girls’ teams with this generous sponsorship. The number of girls playing at our club continues to grow and with Vistry’s support, we can make sure they have the kit that they need to play the game.”
