Victoria Centre welcomes 9 new retailers

19/11/2021 by Digital Media

Nottingham’s Victoria Centre has announced the signing of nine new brands, which will arrive over the coming months.

The new retailers are set enhance the shopping experience at Nottingham’s most popular retail destination, which is owned by property company SGS.

MINISO, the Japanese-inspired lifestyle retailer is set to open only its seventh store in the UK and its first ever opening in the Midlands. Situated on the upper mall, the new store will sell brands including Marvel, Disney and We Bare Bears

Also joining the new lineup is diamond jewellery specialist, Austen & Blake. This will be the retailer’s  sixth store in the UK. Visitors will be able to browse an extensive collection of diamond engagement and wedding rings, necklaces, earrings and bracelets, with experts on hand to help shoppers create personalised designs.

Joining alongside MINISO and Austen & Blake is Shuropody, the foot healthcare specialist and Bestsellers Direct, which will be a go-to for discounted books and gifts. Meanwhile Sipp adds to the Clocktower dining food and drink offering, bringing specialist bubble tea to the centre.

A selection of new kiosks are also opening on the lower mall for the festive period, including Calendar Club, Touch of Glass, Forever Love and Christmas Memories, all offering a great selection of gifts in the run up to Christmas.

Commenting on the new arrivals, Nigel Wheatley, Centre Director at Victoria Centre said, “The past few months have shown just how much people enjoy the experience of in-person retail. It’s great to see so many brands opening new stores and even better that they are choosing Nottingham to do so.

“Each of these retailers adds to the already exciting and diverse mix at the centre, and will open just in time for people to enjoy in the run to Christmas.

“We’re currently in talks with several other new brands and look forward to adding more big names to our retail and dining offering over the coming months.”

The announcement follows the opening of seven new stores in the summer, which included The Barkery by Frenchie Frenchie, Skechers, Ribble Cycles and Treat Kitchen.
