Huge Christmas food and beer hall headed to Nottingham for the Festive Season

19/11/2021 by Digital Media

Set your sights on street food, German beer, mulled wine and boozy hot chocolate!

If you’re looking for something a bit different to celebrate this Christmas season, you should be heading to Beeston to get into the festive spirit.

Pop-up events venue The Garage, host of a nationally acclaimed Farmers’ Market (The Telegraph, The Independent) as well as one of Nottingham’s Coolest Bars “The Ruin Bar” (Nottingham Post), is transforming into a huge indoor Christmas themed food and beer hall in November and December.

With a rotating list of traders each week, treat yourself to award-winning street food, premium German pilsner from the world famous Paulaner, mulled wine, ciders, gin, cocktails and boozy hot chocolate all within the setting of the old Bartons Bus Depot in Chilwell. Complete with festive food, Christmas trees, twinkling fairy lights and weekly live music. What’s not to love?

Event organiser, James Barton explained, “We’re really looking forward to creating the go-to destination for food and drink this Christmas in Nottinghamshire. Weekends at The Garage will be centered around spending time with family and friends in a comfortable space, with casual and informal dining on Fridays and Saturday with live music, followed by our wonderful Christmas Markets on Sunday.”

“From now until December 19th, we’ll be supporting more than 140 local business over the festive period, something we’re incredibly humbled by.”

“Participating in one of Europe’s most beloved winter experiences, while adding our unique spin, will make Christmas at The Garage the perfect place to visit this winter.”
