The Beeston Showcase, a window installation showing off some of the greatest talents and initiatives in Beeston, has officially returned, and now improvements to the installation can be made.
The Beeston Showcase consists of displaying local artworks, societies and collectives in empty shop windows around Beeston until new commercial tenants are found.
Formerly an Argos shop based on the square in Beeston, The Beeston Showcase has reopened, in these window displays you can find some fantastic pieces of art plus information of the incredible initiatives coming out of Beeston. From the Beestonian, to Hedgepigs home for Hedgehogs, the installation has multiple windows on show for the public to view the local talent, while also providing a COVID-safe view.
Most recently, they have also acquired Tesco’s former pet shop where you can find a further 2 windows of artwork.
Currently the Beeston Showcase are trying to locate other empty window spaces to display more fantastic local work.
