Superstar Madison raises over £8,000 for Forever Stars

01/09/2022 by Digital Media

Ten year-old Madison Murden’s fundraising efforts for Forever Stars has recently reached the dizzy heights of more than £8,000!

Madison, who attends Whitegate School in Clifton has been fundraising for Nottingham based baby loss support charity Forever Stars for 5 years now. She has undertaken various activities, including the Nottingham marathon mile challenge, remote 5k runs during Covid and most recently her annual cake bake sale in July, which itself raised over £1,000 in just one afternoon!

Madison’s fundraising this year enabled the charity to purchase some much needed gardening equipment for the Forever Stars Serenity Garden at Highfields Park.

This will enable the charity and it’s volunteers to maintain the garden to the highest standard for those families who find comfort within it.

Jo Sharp of Forever Stars said, “Madison is a little superstar, who uses her kindness and enthusiasm to help others to fund raise on a regular basis for ourselves and we will always be grateful to have her support. She is a credit to her family and her community!”
