The Spring Fair is one of the West Bridgford RNLI’s key annual fundraising events, and this year marked another great success!
Held on the 27th April at Lutterell Hall, the fair had a fantastic turnout from the local community. There was something for everyone; a wide variety of books, pre-loved items, plants, jewellery, and a childrens stall with toys and games for sale. As always, a delicious selection of homemade cakes were available too, as well as a raffle featuring prizes kindly gifted by generous local businesses.
The RNLI mascot, Stormy Stan, also made an appearance, collecting donations on Central Avenue.
In total, an amazing £1336 was raised on the day to support the RNLI, a hugely important nationwide institution which this year celebrates its 200th year of service.
A huge thank you to the local community who came to support the sale, all the volunteers who made the event possible, and the local business who donated prizes; The Tall Frog, Slades Florist, Lady Bay Chip Shop, Lady Bay Pub, Doughnotts, and Cook.
A number of future fundraising events are already planned, with the next being a stall at the Lady Bay Safari Sale on 9th June.
