Success at the RNLI Spring Fair!

07/07/2023 by Digital Media

The Spring Fair is one of the West Bridgford RNLI’s key annual fundraising events, and this year marked another great success!

Held on the 20th May at Lutterell Hall, the sale had something for everyone; a wide variety of books, pre-loved items, plants and jewellery for sale, as well as a delicious selection of homemade cakes and a raffle, with prizes kindly gifted by generous local businesses.

The RNLI mascot, Stormy Stan, also made an appearance, collecting donations on Central Avenue.

In total, a fantastic £1,200 was raised on the day to support the RNLI. A huge thank you to our local community who came to support the sale, all the volunteers who made the event possible, and the local business who donated prizes; Paolo’s Seafood, The Tall Frog, Slades Florist, Lady Bay Chip Shop, Cook and Wagamama.

The next key event will be a Coffee & Cake morning, in conjunction with the Youth Centre on Saturday 15th July on Central Avenue.

Written by Helen Hall, Press Officer at the RNLI West Bridgford Branch.
