The Lady Bay Community Choir has had a very busy Spring this year having recently entertained audiences at the Ruddington Coronation Market, the Sing Away festival in Sutton Coldfield, the Arts Trail in Lady Bay and the Big Sing in Ruddington. Some performances have been shared with its sister community choir in Ruddington.
Choir leader, Bernie Bracha, said, “We’ve had wonderful feedback from audiences and created many happy memories for our singers. Singing is so good for our mental and physical health and it’s great to be able to attend festivals again after so many years of restrictions. We’d love more people to join us.”
There’s no audition for the Lady Bay Community Choir. All that’s needed is an enjoyment of singing. The choir is friendly and welcoming and Bernie is an experienced, relaxed and inspirational leader. Rehearsals are energetic and varied.
The choir meets on Wednesdays at All Hallows Church, Pierrepont Road, West Bridgford, from 8pm until 9.30pm.
