Rivendell View care home in Stoke Bardolph welcomed the local community for a charity Easter Egg Hunt in aid of the Harley Jae Trust on Wednesday 3rd April.
The Harley Jae Trust supports children who live with life-limiting or life-changing illness and their families, providing equipment, resources, and services to enhance quality of life.
People were invited to Rivendell View for the Easter Egg Hunt around the gardens, raffles, games, refreshements and an appearance from a mystery guest.
Rivendell View resident, Rita Brookes said, “I’m really happy to be involved in such a lovely charity. I’ve been helping people all my life having worked in the probation service.
“It was fantastic to see everyone having fun while supporting the Harley Jae Trust, and enjoy doing work with the charity and the community.”
Lisa Tungate, the Home Manager at Rivendell View, added: “Community is a big part of life at Rivendell View, so we’re always keen to give back where we can. Our Easter Egg Hunt was a day full of fun and laughter.”
