Recycle for Charity

12/12/2019 by Digital Media

Recycle your small electrical items at your local Recycling Centre during January, and for every tonne, Veolia (Nottingham County Council’s waste contractors) will donate £5 to Motor Neurone Disease Association, the chosen charity of Nottinghamshire County Council’s Chairman.

Veolia have even promised to donate an additional £500 bonus to the Motor Neurone Disease Association if the total reaches 500 tonnes by the end of January 2020!

Putting small electrical items in your bin at home means the valuable components inside will be wasted and the precious resources lost. Feel good this new year by recycling them instead and at the same time raise money for a great cause!

Every year an estimated 2 million tonnes of electrical and electronic waste items are discarded by householders and companies in the UK. Recycling helps everyone, it is easy to do and protects the planet for future generations.
