Pharmacy join forces with local school for new campaign

16/03/2024 by Digital Media

During January, Well Pharmacy in Cotgrave ran a campaign with the help of local children from Candleby Lane Primary School, to help promote Free Blood Pressure checks for the over 40’s, who are not on any existing blood pressure medication.

The children from Year 6, who had already been learning about the importance of the heart in their lessons, created some wonderful posters which were displayed in the shopfront window. Two of the entries were selected as winners and these pupils were presented a prize by Pharmacy Manager, Karen Alexander for their fantastic work.

Whilst in the pharmacy, the winning pupils were able to have a quick look around as well as to test their own blood pressure on a machine in the consultation room.

Photographed are competition winners, Imogen Fullard and Jit with Pharmacist, Scott Sheehan, Area Manager, Alex Castledine and Store Manager, Karen Alexander.
