Now in it’s fifth year, Nottinghamshire Young Farmers hosted another Santa Tractor Run.
During 2020 Notts YFC lost all their revenue streams, unable to host fundraising events and with limited access to grants they set about creating a covid-safe event that would spread some Christmas joy and keep the organisation going into it’s 75th year.
The reaction to the 70 plus decorated tractor procession was overwhelming, it has since been a much anticipated event for the communities it travels through, and somewhat of a Christmas tradition.
One spectator said last year “We’ve watched this from when it first began, it’s absolutely brilliant, very festive and out two kids absolutely love it!”
Another said: “This was our first time watching this event and we were absolutely amazed and loved it! We were all bouncing around very excite.”
This years event is on Saturday 7th December, the event is free to watch on the route and a number of pubs and businesses will be supporting the event with refreshments and additional car parking.
A slight change in the route this year has meant we are now incorporating Calverton and Woodborough.
We’d love to see you out on the streets, safely getting into the Christmas spirit with the help of our tractors and Santa!
