Victoria Centre, one of the UK’s most popular retail destinations, owned by property company SGS, is pleased to announce a string of leasing deals and new arrivals.
Seven new brands are set to welcome customers at the Nottingham shopping destination over the coming months.
John Lewis & Partners has opened the doors to a new pop up showroom for its new ANYDAY range on the lower mall close to the Parliament Street entrance. High street banking giant TSB has launched a new banking pod, while The Barkery by Frenchie Frenchie has already opened on the lower mall, selling treats just for dogs, including ‘pupcorn, Woofnut doggy doughnuts and PAWribo’ sweets.
Over the next few months, these new stores will be joined by a range of other retailers, including some of the biggest names in fashion and food.
For those looking to freshen up their post-lockdown wardrobe, American shoe brand Skechers will be opening in the centre, adding to the mix of fashion stores, which already includes River Island, Next, Superdry and Relic x Hooked.
Rounding off the new brands is British bike manufacturer Ribble Cycles, homeware specialist House of Home and Nottingham’s own sweet treat favourite, food gifting store, Treat Kitchen.
Nigel Wheatley, centre director at Victoria Centre, commented on welcoming so many new names:
“With the reopening of non-essential retail and indoor hospitality, it feels like the city centre is full of energy again. It’s been a reminder about how much we all enjoy going out to shop and it’s great that we are now able to give shoppers even more to look forward to.
“We have an exciting mix of new brands, including established names like TSB and Skechers, as well as some exciting new independents for people to explore such as Treat Kitchen and The Barkery. We look forward to confirming opening dates over the coming months and will soon be in a position to announce even more new names.
“The last few weeks have shown that shopping is not just about the product, but the whole experience, and these new names will add to that, presenting a range of extra options for shopping and dining with us.”
