Ladybay Pharmacy Giving Tree

22/12/2020 by Digital Media

Ladybay pharmacy is a family run business established for over 25 years at the core of Ladybay community.

Every year the pharmacy and local helpers organise a Christmas fair to fund raise money for the chosen charity.

Due to the pandemic this year we were not able to organise a Christmas fair.

As we really wanted to do something for the local community. Our colleague Laura Happs had the idea to do a locally organised giving tree. The local community nominated and donated a present for a person that they think have been isolated over the pandemic and not able to see loved ones over Christmas.

We messaged the Ladybay community on our facebook page and had a great response of nominations and presents donated. The pharmacy also donated presents. We organised and delivered them out to the nominated people.

The Singh family, Laura and all the Ladybay pharmacy staff help organise the giving tree. With the generosity and community spirit of Ladybay people.

The giving tree delivered over 70 presents the Ladybay community.

Laura Happs also organised a giving tree for Cotgrave and delivered over 140 presents to the community.

In the new year the pharmacy would like to offer more to the community so over lockdown we have built a new clinic room to offer more advanced treatments.
