A warm welcome awaits you at Keyworth WI.
We have been established for over 100 years and give like-minded women the chance to get together for fun and friendship plus, the opportunity to learn new skills, get involved with the community and take part in a wide range of activities. We also have quizzes, parties, outings and interesting and entertaining educational speakers.
Covid was a difficult time for everyone. Although we were unable to hold our monthly meetings we tried to keep in touch with our members and, as soon as we could, we had a meeting outdoors with tea and cake. It was lovely to see each other again after so long.
Since restarting our monthly meetings we have had a film night, a talk on looking good with colour and our April meeting was a fascinating talk from Blood Bike volunteers. This was a particularly interesting evening which gave us a fascinating insight into the amazing work that the volunteers do. Our members even got the chance to sit on one the bikes!
Meetings are held on the last Thursday of the month at 7.15pm in the Centenary Lounge on Elm Ave in Keyworth.
We would love to welcome new members to our happy group.
