Joshua Partridge a Y9 student at CFS Academy, has for his 4th year gone under canvas raising money and awareness for the RBLI’S Great Tommy Sleep Out raising funds for the estimated 6,000 homeless veterans in the UK.
He doesn’t have a night target this year but a monetary goal as Joshua needs to raise £900 to achieve the amazing achievement of raising Twelve & half thousand pounds for the charity.
Joshua has even had his tent upgraded by another GTSO member, but just to make this year a little more challenging Joshua broke his ankle ice-skating, so to keep the flag flying and hoping to keep the donations coming in Joshua’s Mum, Anne-Marie has taken over the reins until Joshua can get back to it.
Anne-Marie said: “Joshua has now slept out over 380 nights for the cause, I’m sure I can manage a few cold nights!”
Every pound made really can make a huge difference to lives of these boys and girls.
