Jesse Gray School welcomes ex pupils and staff members to upcoming open afternoon

08/07/2022 by Digital Media

Jesse Gray Primary School, located on Musters Road, is celebrating its 70th birthday this summer with a calendar of events to mark the occasion!

Are you an ex pupil or staff member? If so, the school would be delighted to welcome you to an open afternoon on Wednesday 13th July, 2:00pm – 7:00pm where you can revisit some of your childhood memories and explore the vast collection of photographs and memorabilia spanning the 70 years.

We are also preparing a short film made up of memories from past pupils and staff, this will be shown on the big screen, as well as being shared on social media. If you have any really funny, interesting or particularly unique memories of the school please contact the school and we can hopefully include these in our film or exhibition.

There will also be an opportunity to tour the school and perhaps meet some old friends!

We intend the occasion to be informal and a chance to actually be in your old primary school.

Please spread the word and then simply turn up on the 13th! The staff, led by the current Head teacher, Chris Belton, look forward to meeting you.
