Pickleball, one of the fastest growing sports worldwide, has arrived in Nottinghamshire rural communities courtesy of Loco Pickleball.

Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced player, this fun and accessible sport is perfect for all ages and abilities.

So, what is Pickleball? A unique mix of tennis, badminton, and table tennis, it’s played on a badminton-sized court with a paddle and a perforated plastic ball. It’s easy to learn but full of challenges, and offers a great way to stay active while enjoying a highly social experience.

Loco Pickleball’s sessions combine expert coaching and free play, making them ideal for everyone. Pickleball England accredited Club Instructors, Carol Whittington and Lorraine Cockell lead the sessions, providing friendly guidance to help you quickly learn and improve your skills in a supportive environment. With all equipment provided and low entry costs its never been easier to give this exciting sport a try.

Join them at their Pickleball Taster and Improver Sessions at the following venues and discover why pickleball is easy to play, wonderfully sociable, and incredibly addictive!

  • Lowdham Village Hall
    • Southwell Leisure Centre
    • Ravenshead Leisure Centre
    • South Notts Academy Sports Hall, Radcliffe on Trent
