East Leake Traders say thank you to locals

05/05/2021 by Digital Media

The East Leake Traders Association would like to say a massive ‘Thank you!’ to East Leake residents for continuing to support our local businesses and tradesmen throughout lockdown.

Thanks also to the traders who have worked so hard to stay open, including The Greengrocer, the Co-op, the hardware shop, Pinfold Vets for taking amazing care of our pets and Bryers who have been operating a takeaway service.

As the village slowly gets back to normal, please continue to enjoy the varied businesses, services and facilities here in East Leake.  To name just a few, we have Captcha for photography and framing, Googies Flowers, Formula 4 Fitness restarting outside fitness classes, The Nags Head for outside get-togethers, 3D Bodywork for sports & remedial massage, CJL Hair Studio and Cut n Curl hairdressers.

The Traders Association is all about supporting our village and community. Our member Arch Communications planted 450 wild daffodil bulbs as part of their ten-year anniversary, which the whole community will enjoy in years to come.  We also organise and help with various events in the village.  For example, you will see many of us at the East Leake Market, which is a collaboration between traders, volunteers from the village and Rushcliffe Borough Council.  The market dates for the rest of this year are: 14th May, 11th June, 9th July, 13th August, 10th September and 3rd December.  We hope to see you there.

Visit www.eastleaketraders.co.uk for the full list of trader members and more information about the work of the Traders Association.
