Nottingham Casuals RFC is celebrating its centenary this year! We’re the only Rugby Union Club in Broxtowe and we’d love to keep the club going for another 100 years plus!
We are a grassroots, family-centred rugby club situated next to the River Trent in Beeston Rylands.
We’re always on the lookout for new players whatever your age, ability or gender. We currently run teams from Under 5s to Veterans. If playing rugby isn’t your thing, we also have opportunities to volunteer and / or fundraise for the club. Alternatively, you may simply just want to watch the matches in the beautiful surroundings and socialise with us.
The pandemic has highlighted the importance of our mental and physical health and sport has such a positive impact on both. At Nottingham Casuals, we pride ourselves on looking out for each other through the highs and lows of life. If you’d like to know more and become part of this community club, please visit our website or Facebook page for further details and then come and meet us! Visit: https://www.nottinghamcasuals.org
NCRFC Go Green
We have a desire at the club to minimise our impact on the environment and we are aiming to meet Nottinghamshire’s target of becoming carbon neutral by 2028. Our first step is to improve the biodiversity around our borders by planting over 300 trees with the help of Notts Tree Planters. We are reaching out to the local community to help with this, so if you have some free time on Sunday 13th February please book for free via the eventbrite link using the QR code. Places are limited, so get in there early. Don’t worry – rugby is always at the heart of what we do, so we will be showing the all important Six Nations game in the clubhouse after the tree planting.
NCRFC COVID Recovery Crowdfunder
We would like to re-start some of our development plans that had to be put on hold due to loss of income during the pandemic. We will be creating a crowdfunder page soon which will include details of these plans & our fundraising events; every little bit of support will help us develop the club for future generations so please do keep an eye out for this and help us out if you can.
We hope to see you at the club soon!
