Bulb Planting and litter pick in Calverton

07/01/2023 by Digital Media

Saturday 19th November saw Calverton Beavers spend a morning planting donated daffodil bulbs amongst the trees on Seely Park.

The Beavers were armed with trowels and spades and undertook the planting with great enthusiasm even if the ground was rather hard.

Cllrs Inger and Brown would like to say a huge thanks to Michaela and the Beavers and their parents who undertook this task to make Seely Park more colourful in the Spring.

New vandal proof seating, bins, climbing net and double zip wire are due to be installed at Seely Park in the next few months to complement the existing Children’s play area.
