The first Broxtowe Green Festival was a hit, taking place in September, the event organised by Incredible Edible Beeston saw a fantastic turnout.
Here’s what the organisers said:
We held our first ever ‘Broxtowe Green Festival’ on Saturday 25th September and what a day we had! We’d like to thank all of the fantastic stallholders who took a gamble on this new festival and turned up with their activities, produce and knowledge to try and inspire others to join the fight to save our future.
We had some amazing storytelling from Beeston Storytellers, an inspiring speech from climate campaigner Alan Simpson, delicious food from Veggie’s Catering and Feed Me Fully Loaded, pedal-powered smoothies from Pulp Friction & advice from Notts Cloth Nappies… there are too many people to mention but we want to thank everyone who made the day a success – including the wonderful public and the council too.
We’d love to hear any feedback – positive or constructive. Please do email us at [email protected] or get in touch if you’d like to help out with future events.
