Concerned about climate change? Wanting things to be a bit different in society? Grassroots action is incredibly effective at bringing about change on a wider scale.
We are hosting a “Community Climate Forum” on Thursday 10th November from 18:30 until 20:30 at Roundhill Primary School, Beeston. The event aims to: see what other individuals and groups are doing across Broxtowe, bring people together, and share ideas & thoughts on how we can work together. Using community organising approaches to help us collaborate, the aim is to connect and plan as a community to bring about a fairer, healthier future.
You don’t need to have done anything climate / social justice related before and this event is open to anybody – individuals, community groups, businesses – all are welcome, including young people. We just want to get as many people as possible together to see how we can work together and think about what positive change we can bring about.
Refreshments will be provided! You don’t need to bring anything along – just yourselves! Please sign up via Eventbrite: tinyurl.com/vfhb7p47
If you are interested in this event but are unable to attend and would like to hear about what we get up to / any future events, please email [email protected] to stay in the loop.
Hope to see you there!
