Beeston Unity are eagerly looking forward to the first week in May when their green will be opening for their first full season since 2019. They have a full programme of fixtures so lots of opportunities to get involved.
The club is currently experiencing a revival. Although they have lost a few players they have also gained a few and there is starting to be a real buzz about the club both on and off the green. Beeston Unity have always been a competitive club but are also a friendly and welcoming club. The clubhouse is currently getting a makeover which will improve their facilities for both themselves and visitors.
There are lots of health benefits to playing the game Bowls with exercise and fresh air being the main ones. “We have all been glad to get out and meet people again and what better way to do that than joining a Bowls club where for a couple of hours or so you can make new friends and forget all your troubles as you immerse yourself in the game”. says Mick & Malcolm.
