As the Rushcliffe Social Prescribing Community Hub continues to evolve, we’re delighted to be offering a new programme of weekend wellbeing sessions, launched in January as part of a short three-month pilot. This pilot gives us the opportunity to test demand, reduce barriers to access, and shape future sessions around what our community values and uses.
We know that weekdays don’t work for everyone. Work, caring responsibilities, health needs and fluctuating energy levels can all make it hard to attend. By introducing weekend sessions, we’re creating spaces that feel realistic, supportive and easier to say yes to.
The programme includes menopause support sessions, offering shared understanding and practical tools; Playhouse visits, bringing people together through culture, creativity and connection; and Nordic dip sessions, supported experiences combining nature, resilience and wellbeing in a powerful way. Each session has been shaped by community feedback and delivered thoughtfully.
At the heart of this work is a simple belief: self-care isn’t a luxury — it’s essential to long-term health and wellbeing. These sessions aim to build confidence, connection and resilience in ways that feel manageable and meaningful.
Because this is a time-limited pilot, attendance matters. By booking on and turning up, you’re not only investing in your own wellbeing — you’re helping us show what’s needed and shape what comes next.
Whether you already attend, are thinking about joining, would like to volunteer, or are interested in running a session with us, we’d love to hear from you.
