The Nottinghamshire countryside will sparkle with festive lights this December as more than 50 tractors, decked out with twinkling Christmas lights, tinsel and blow-up Santas, take to the roads for the Nottinghamshire Young Farmers’ Clubs Santa Tractor Run 2025.
The magical convoy will set off at 5:00pm on Saturday 6 December from Morton, before winding its way through a three-hour route of rural villages including Fiskerton, Rolleston, Staythorpe, Upton, Southwell, Halam, Edingley, Farnsfield, Oxton, Calverton, Woodborough, Epperstone, Lowdham, Hoveringham, Thurgarton and Bleasby.
This spectacular community event will raise funds to support the future of young farmers in Nottinghamshire, helping to provide training, social opportunities, and leadership development for young people aged 10-30.
“The Santa Tractor Run has become one of the calendar highlights of the festive season in our rural communities, and we love running the event” said Jessica Spencer-Cooper, County Chair of Nottinghamshire Young Farmers Clubs.
Lauren Clark, County Development Officer of Nottinghamshire Young Farmers Clubs said “It’s a wonderful way to bring people together, celebrate farming life, and raise vital funds to keep our clubs running for young people right across Nottinghamshire.”
Spectators are encouraged to line the route, wave to Santa, and support the cause by donating via collection buckets along the route or through the official fundraising page https://localgiving.org/fundraising/SantaTractorRun25
The event is organised by volunteers from Nottinghamshire Young Farmers’ Clubs and supported by local partners and the farming community.
