The Nottingham’s West Bridgford branch set to close for modernisation

02/11/2020 by Digital Media

The Nottingham will close its doors in West Bridgford on Friday (6 November) – but only for two weeks as it undergoes a state-of-the-art refit.

Its branch on Central Avenue will reopen on Friday 20 November with a fresh new look and feel – including a designated, furnished space for community use – and a range of products and services the public expects from a modern day building society.

That includes savings accounts and whole of market mortgage advice provided by Nottingham Mortgage Services, as well as a wide choice of additional offerings via expert partners including funeral planning, financial advice and home insurance.

All of these services will be able to be discussed face-to-face in a Covid-19 secure environment that includes integrated protective screens, hand sanitising facilities and the building society’s involvement in the NHS Test and Trace programme.

Local Leader at The Nottingham, Martin Wright, said: “We’re proud to be investing in our branches and a lot of planning and hard work by teams across The Nottingham will come to fruition when we open the doors to what will be a really modern looking branch on Friday 20 November.

“But, most importantly of all, customers will be able to discuss with us how we can help them save, plan and protect their financial futures in a much fresher, more vibrant and comfortable environment.”

For the two weeks that the West Bridgford branch is closed people are welcome to visit The Nottingham’s branches in nearby Ruddington (High Street), Nottingham city centre (Upper Parliament Street), or any of the branch locations which can be found at www.thenottingham.com/branches.
