Tennis Club awarded £1k grant for disability tennis programme

19/04/2023 by Digital Media

Access Ace Tennis is the disability tennis programme at West Bridgford Tennis Club. Over the past few years, the programme has gained in popularity and regularly reaches maximum numbers in the lessons.

To support and grow the group, the Club applied for a grant to the Allianz Sports Fund, through their insurance broke Howdens.

‘We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded this grant’ said Club manager Julia Griffith, ‘and I would like to thank both Allianz and Howdens.’

Access Ace Coach James Ockleford said: ‘The grant is fantastic news. It will help secure the viability of the programme, especially in view of the current challenging economic circumstances.’

Access Ace is on every Saturday at 6.30pm during term time.

For further information please call Julia on 0115 981 1699 or email her at [email protected].
