Nursery car park in West Bridgford will have some of its 95 spaces unavailable for three weeks from Monday 13th June, whilst a new electricity sub-station is installed in the area.
Western Power are leading on the infrastructure upgrade that will see the car park continue to open at all times but with slight restrictions on capacity that will see 12 spaces unavailable.
Nearby Bridgford Road and Gordon Road car parks will also continue to open as normal.
Parts of the adjacent Central Avenue and Croquet Lawn in the town will also be temporarily affected
The essential works are required to upgrade the electrical infrastructure in the town which will provide a better power supply for local businesses and events in Bridgford Park.
Business owners including M&S, Oliver Bonas, Halifax and Portello Lounge and the Friends of Bridgford Park have been informed of the changes.
The 12 unavailable spaces includes some blue badge holder bays but users can still safely access dedicated spaces in bays 49-52 at the site and there are extensive blue badge bays at the Gordon Road and Bridgford Road locations.
Rushcliffe Borough Council apologises for any inconvenience caused during the period of the works.
