It’s our annual Teddy Bear Toss game on Sunday 14th December as Nottingham Panthers host Fife Flyers at the Motorpoint Arena.
The Teddy Bear Toss is a special tradition in Nottingham for well over a decade and always one of the highlights of the season.
The teddies and soft toys are donated to deserving children at Christmas and over the years, thousands have been donated thanks to our partnership with The Renewal Trust.
Teddies and soft toys must be brand-new and wrapped in a clear plastic bag to prevent them getting wet after landing on the ice.
Please throw your teddies if Panthers score during the first period on Sunday. If they don’t score by the end of the first period, please throw your teddies when the hooter goes for the first intermission.
If you have never seen it before it’s a sight to behold as hundreds and hundreds of teddies come raining down onto the ice from all corners of the Motorpoint Arena.
There will also be a drop-off point in the foyer at the Panthers VIP Desk for anyone sitting behind the netting, in the suites, or anyone who doesn’t want to throw their teddy on the ice.
We’d like to say a big thank you to Nic Williams and The Renewal Trust for their support. The Renewal Trust will be distributing the teddies and soft toys to those in need this Christmas.
