The Spring Fair is one of the West Bridgford RNLI’s key annual fundraising events, and this year marked another great success!
Held on the 14th May at Lutterell Hall, the sale had something for everyone; a wide variety of books, pre-loved items, plants and jewellery for sale, as well as a delicious selection of homemade cakes and a raffle, with prizes kindly gifted by generous local businesses.
The RNLI mascot, Stormy Stan, also made an appearance (pictured), collecting donations on Central Avenue.
In total, a fantastic £1050 was raised on the day, all going to support the RNLI. A huge thank you to our local community who came to support the sale, all the volunteers who made the event possible, and the local business who donated prizes; Paolo’s Seafood, The Tall Frog, Slades Florist, Lady Bay Chip Shop, and Inspirations.
The Spring Fair marked the start of a busy season of events for the WB RNLI, which was quickly followed by a stall at the Lady Bay Safari Sale, raising a further £218.
The next key event will be a Coffee & Cake morning, in conjunction with the Youth Centre on Saturday 23rd July on Central Avenue – which will hopefully share a similar level of success, thanks to our brilliant local community.
