This years’ Splendour Festival was even bigger – being a sell out of 25,000 people!
With a fantastic line-up including Rob Green, Louisa, Rag’n’Bone Man, The Specials and headliners Manic Street Preachers – Splendour was just as amazing as previous years! No wonder it was the fastest sell-out on record!
As usual our lovely British weather is super unpredictable – thankfully the rain was short lived and it did not dampen anyone’s spirits!
Nottingham’s very own Rob Green seriously set the mood for the rest of the day – with his amazing energy and talent – creating a fantastic atmosphere!
We noticed a lot more families this year which is great, as there is something for everyone at Splendour! Including children areas and a few rides! Splendour is definitely a good family day out – all you need is a picnic, good weather and great entertainment!
Splendour fans made the most of soaking up all the talent and performances on offer across all the stages!
There was plenty of talent around, to name a few – Ava Saint, Do Nothing, The Coronas and All Saints on the Confetti Stage.
On the Courtyard Stage – Re Teu, Magetrain and many more. Comedy Stage – Sean Heydon, Vinca Atta and Suzy Bennett.
On the Fringe Stage there was a yoga session, Salsa and Nottingham’s Mrs Green.
Rag’n’Bone Man put on an incredible performance as expected singing not only his chart topping hits, but also some new songs that will be on his new album he’s still working on!
The Specials and All Saints followed building up to the Headliners – Manic Street Preachers!
They definitely made Splendour 2019 a day to remember!
If you have never been to Nottingham’s biggest festival – Splendour, then you’ve honestly missed out over the years, we highly recommend you go in 2020!
