Sandra Taylor School of Dance celebrates 45 years!

30/05/2025 by Digital Media

The Sandra Taylor School of Dance, West Bridgford( STSD) recently presented its 45th anniversary showcase, aptly titled “45” at Nottingham Playhouse.

It was a night to remember with iconic music from across four decades as well as classics for Ballet lovers, including excerpts from Swan Lake, Coppelia, Giselle, Emeralds and more.

Stunning Contemporary and Lyrical pieces, unique and upbeat Tap routines featuring dancers from age three to adult all giving their all at this memorable performance.

Elvis was temporarily in the building for the adult Tappers high-energy rendering of ‘Blue suede shoes’, which brought the house down!

Sandra said: “‘45’ was a particularly emotional show in many ways, not least because our most advanced students, who have been with us since the age of three or so are now leaving to follow various paths, University, work placements or in several cases to follow their dance dreams having gained places at prestigious dance centres such as Trinity Laban and Ballet Theatre UK. We wish them every success, as graduates of STSD.”
