Redeemer Church’s Annual Community Fun Day

20/11/2022 by Digital Media

An estimated 800 people visited Redeemer Church’s annual Community Fun Day, the first since 2019 due to the pandemic. This year’s Fun Day was made more special as the Church has now moved into the newly refurbished and extended Old Town Hall on Foster Avenue.

Thankfully the rain stayed away and visitors of all ages enjoyed live music, ice cream, home made cakes, games, craft, and inflatables. Tours were given of the converted building and there was also a chance to find out more about some of the organisations supported by the church – Safe Families, Crossteach, Hope Nottingham and Hope into Action. It also gave the church the opportunity to listen to the needs and opinions of others for possible future initiatives.

Visitors were invited to return to the Church’s Sunday services which are held at the Old Town Hall every Sunday at 10.30am. Those with pre-school children were also invited to return to Town Hall Tots (a parents and kids group meeting during term time on Friday mornings at 9.45am).

The Church look forward to continuing to develop the former Town Hall site and offering more community events in the future.
