Radcliffe on Trent Pre-school Playgroup marked a major milestone this July, celebrating its 60th anniversary with a wonderful party for current and former families, staff, and supporters of the much-loved village playgroup.
Guests enjoyed a fantastic afternoon filled with food, drinks, music, balloons, and plenty of fun for the children. A highlight of the celebration was a special appearance by Elsa from Frozen, who delighted the children with games and magical entertainment.
Adults joined in the festivities with a tombola and refreshments, including Pimms and prosecco, while sharing fond memories of the playgroup’s history.
Among the special guests were Geraldine Mills, the founder of the playgroup, as well as local MP James Naish, who acknowledged the important role of pre-school for children’s growth.
Radcliffe on Trent Pre-school Playgroup is a small, not-for-profit registered charity offering flexible childcare for children aged 2 to 5. The group always welcomes new committee members to help keep the playgroup thriving for future generations.
