Portland Staff Supporting the Community As Well As Vulnerable Learners

14/04/2020 by Digital Media

Principal Mark Dale with Kings Mill Hospital representative, Irena when she collected the visors from college last week.

Staff from Portland College in Nottingham have been busy making full face masks for staff members and have even donated some locally too.

Whilst we at Portland are still working hard to protect our most vulnerable learners with key worker parents each day, even throughout the Easter holidays, we are utilising our resources to help the community at the same time.

Portland College staff members, Chris Wynne and Carl Wright have been busy making visors for staff on site, and have now made visors that have been donated to local care home, Clipstone Hall and Lodge Care Home, as well as Kings Mill Hospital. Chris and Carl are hoping to continue producing visors to work the wonderful and vital work the NHS staff are doing.
