The 17th Nottingham Boys’ Brigade and 30th Nottingham Girls’ Brigade are proudly presenting their 71st annual Pantomime ‘Puss in Boots’, on March Thursday 17th, Friday 18th, Saturday 19th March 2022.
This year’s pantomime should have taken place in January, but due to the COVID restrictions and most of the cast and crew succumbing at one time or another due to COVID, the decision was made to postpone the show till March.
Our fun-for-all pantomime ‘Puss in Boots’, has been written by Ben Crocker, and this year the show is being directed by the Boys’ Brigade captain Andrew Bunyan. The pantomime includes Tom Jowett as the Dame Queen Windy, and Dylan Jones as her long suffering husband King Wafty. There are fairies, an Ogre who is the pantomime baddy and of course a cat, as well as a princess and her love interest Jack.
The Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade have been putting on pantomimes since 1950 with the first Pantomime of ’Cinderella’, and have only missed 2 years, the first due to world War 2 the latest due to Covid.
Tickets are priced £4.50 for concessions (£3.50 on Thursday), £5.50 adults with a family ticket (2 adults and two children) for £15.
The pantomime is being performed at the Pearson Centre for Young People, 2 Nuart Road Beeston, NG9 2NH, for tickets please contact the office on 0115 9254112 or email [email protected]
