Nottingham Panthers host Fife Flyers on Saturday in the Elite League on what is sure to be a special and emotional occasion at the Motorpoint Arena as we retire the jersey of Adam Johnson.
The ceremony gets under way at 6:30pm where we will be honoured to be joined by members of Adam’s family, as well as last season’s Head Coach Jonathan Paredes.
This will be a very special occasion as we come together to remember Adam and his contribution not just for ice hockey across the world, but who he was as a person and the positive impact he had on so many people he met.
We advise supporters to allow extra time for their journey on the night as the roads around Nottingham will be busy with Forest hosting Aston Villa (5:30pm kick-off).
Adam Johnson’s Jersey Retirement Ceremony

The game – which is sponsored by Hands on Health – is another big night for the Panthers following a recent run of 11 points out of a possible 12.
Last weekend, saw a huge point on the road in Guidlford followed by a superb 3-1 victory over Cardiff Devils at the Motorpoint Arena.
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday as we raise Adam’s jersey. Forever our 47.
