Notcutts Wheatcroft Garden Centre scoops national award

06/04/2020 by Digital Media

Colleagues at Notcutts Wheatcroft Garden Centre in Nottingham are celebrating after scooping a national industry award.

The ‘Dick Allen Award for Most Improved Garden Centre’ was presented to the Notcutts team at the annual Garden Centre Association (GCA) Conference, which celebrates the success of outstanding garden centres across the country.

Notcutts Wheatcroft was awarded the ‘Most Improved’ title after an unannounced visit from the GCA last year. GCA judges commended the garden centre for its “very high standards of creative visual merchandising”, adding that Notcutts Wheatcroft is a “compelling garden centre with lots of attraction and family focus.”

Notcutts Wheatcroft was also presented with 12 Certificates of Merit at the awards event, to recognise the success of its recently refurbished restaurant, pet centre and outdoor plant area.

Jon Wilson, General Manager at Notcutts Wheatcroft, said: “We are delighted to win the ‘Most Improved’ award, which is a real testament to our colleagues’ hard work in ensuring that our garden centre continues to be a fantastic destination for customers.”
