Local writes book on Lambley during lockdown

24/02/2021 by Digital Media

Margaret Meadows from Lambley set herself a project during the first coronavirus lockdown, to write a book.

Ramblings of a Villager is a book containing history, agriculture, photographs, memories and is based on walks in the Parish of the Village of Lambley. The material has been sourced my Margaret during the past 4 decades.

In the book, the author looks at how the village of Lambley has changed in the first half of the twenty-first century and records what is it like now.

Margaret said, “During the first lockdown my project was a book on Lambley, collating material gathered over the last 40 years, it includes a bit of everything.“As we have been inundated with walkers in Lambley, it should be of interest to those outside of the Parish.”

You can pick up a copy of Ramblings of a Villager for just £6.99 from Floralands in Lambley, The Bookcase at Lowdham or The Woodlark Inn. You can also email Margaret herself at: [email protected] to order a copy.
