The team behind the West Bridgford Community Helpers have launched a new group, ‘Helping Hands, Listening Ears’.
Helping Hands, Listening Ears is a new initiative formed primarily to provide help and support for older people who are isolated and need someone to talk to.
The group consist of volunteers who are residents of Rushcliffe. Each volunteer will be connected to a lonely older person who is vulnerable and isolating.

If you are a local resident who would like to volunteer to be a part of Helping Hands, Listening Ears so that you can help a lonely older person, please call the numbers mentioned above.
Half term food parcels for families
Sewa Day Charity and West Bridgford Community Helpers want to ensure that no child goes hungry during the school holidays. This February half term they are giving food parcels to families in need of a little help.
